Do you own a business or know a business willing to donate?
Be the Light (IA) is interested in connecting with businesses and personnel that can help make our dream a reality for those we will serve.
Personal Donations
There are many ways to donate directly to us. Whether at meetings, meet ups, annual or monthly giving. Every dollar is appreciated and used for our mission. We donate 100% of all personal monies and products directly to East central Iowa individuals and/or families.
Direct Sales
Love to shop? Local direct sales representatives donate their commissions & products to Be the Light (IA) to help fund our donations. Or would you be willing to host your own online fundraising event? Please let us know!
Smile Amazon
Set up your Smile Amazon account to donate a percentage of your purchases directly to us.
Instead of shopping Amazon.com, use smile.Amazon.com and pick Be the Light IA as your charity. Thank you!
Stuff Etc.- Cedar Rapids & Coralville
Do you have things that you are donating to Goodwill, Salvation Army or other local agencies? Drop off at Stuff Etc. instead and mention Be the Light (IA) as your account.
Or one of our friends would be willing to do it for you. Contact us and let us know!
Host an event
Host your own event of any kind and invite your friends. Events are whatever a person would like to do-coffee, potluck, art & crafts event, etc. There are many supportive businesses that would also donate a portion to us. Let us know your thoughts!
A TEAM EFFORT
Be the Light (IA) consists of a board of directors that vote and distribute monies appropriately. We welcome anyone and everyone to help be part of our community by attending events, hosting your own and/or sharing our mission. We believe the more friends we have supporting and sharing, the more we are able to be a Light for the community.
